Ardor is a parent-child chain blockchain platform built on the NXT technology, and launched in 2018 by Jelurida. This BaaS (blockchain-as-a-service) provider makes available a blockchain infrastructure for use by institutions and businesses that are looking to create their own chains without having to engage in any form of coding. It consists of a parent-child infrastructure that features one chain attached to numerous transactional chains.
History
Since 2016, Nxt protocol developers have been working to solve limitations of existing blockchain technology, which gave rise to Ardor Protocol. Ardor was ranked as a top 10 performing digital asset in 2017 by the World Economic Forum. [1]
