Ardor is a parent-child chain blockchain platform built on the NXT technology, and launched in 2018 by Jelurida. This BaaS (blockchain-as-a-service) provider makes available a blockchain infrastructure for use by institutions and businesses that are looking to create their own chains without having to engage in any form of coding. It consists of a parent-child infrastructure that features one chain attached to numerous transactional chains.
History[edit]
Since 2016, Nxt protocol developers have been working to solve limitations of existing blockchain technology, which gave rise Ardor Protocol. Ardor was ranked as a top 10 performing digital asset in 2017 by the World Economic Forum.[1]
