Abraham Yaw Anim Asiama, also known as Asiamalive is a Ghanaian rapper, singer and songwriter.
Early life
Asiama was born on April 4 in Tema, Ghana. He attended St. Margaret School Complex and Presbyterian Senior High School. He started making music at a young age, after listening to and being inspired by rappers like Sarkodie, Ice Prince & AKA.
He first started getting recognition after the release of his freestyle For The Hood in 2019.
On April 24, 2020, Asiama followed up with the release of his debut EP Everything's About Time. Following the release of EAT, Asiamalive appeared on numerous tracks as featured artist, most notably on Iky Blaq’s November 2020 track “Odo Bra”, and Prince Joe’s December 2020 track “Show Me Love”.
In 2021, Asiama appeared on Swaggu’s March 2021 track “Drive By” and Prince Joe's December 2021 Gospel track "Moko Bɛ". Earlier that year Asiama formed DFRNT GANG along with Tappawt, to release their debut single "Yaba" together as a music group, and then he collaborated with Tm Paris and Rapsonic Gh to release "We Taya" later that same year.
