ATEEZ (Hangul: 에이티즈 RR: eitijeu), previously known as KQ Fellaz, is a Korean boy band formed under KQ Entertainment. It is composed of eight members; Hongjoong, Seonghwa, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Mingi, Wooyoung, and Jongho. They debuted on the 24th of October, 2018.[1][2][3] Prior to their debut, they also released three performance videos covering various Western artists' songs, and one performance video covering songs by Exo. The group have also been featured on the Korean YouTube channel, Dingo Music.[4] On November 17th 2018, the group revealed through a live show that the name for their fans would be 'Atiny', a combination of the group name and the word 'destiny'.[5]
Name[edit]
The group's name was originally KQ Fellaz, after their label, KQ Entertainment. They were promoted under this name during prior to their debut. The name was later changed to ATEEZ (Standing for 'A TEENAGER Z').[6]
History[edit]
The group was first publicised on the Korean reality series, Code Name is ATEEZ, which premiered on July 20th 2018 on the Korean broadcasting media MNET. The 8-part series showed the journey of the band leading up to their debut. [7]. Additionally, KQ Entertainment released a YouTube series called "KQ Fellaz 미국 연수기" (KQ Fellaz American Training).

So far, Ateez has released one EP, which includes their title songs Pirate King and Treasure. The album contains an intro and three side tracks. The title of the album is Treasure EP 1: All To Zero.
