A Connecticut Party is a minor political party in the United States operating solely in West Hartford, Connecticut. The party claims to be the direct successor of an older party of the same name despite the two having no legal relation.

The party was founded in 2021 by then town councilmen for West Hartford, Lee Gold, who left the Republican party claiming it was no longer in line with his Social liberal and Fiscal Conservative beliefs. The party solely operates in West Hartford in part of an effort to rejuvenate local politics which party leadership claims was "getting a little bit stale" and to better represent all parts of the town.[1][2][3]

In the 2021 local elections A Connecticut Party had four candidates stand for election in the town council. They lost every election with Gold himself losing his seat by just 84 votes to a Republican challenger. However, the party still has optimism for future endeavors with one candidate, Mark Merritt, stating: “This is not a one-and-done thing. We are officially a party. … Stay tuned.” The source of their optimism is the fact that all of their candidates received 9,753 votes combined which was more than any single candidate from the other parties.[4][5][6]
