A G Bandi Gowda[edit]
AG Bandi Gowda was an Indian independence activist, statesman, and lawyer. He later was nominated to represent the people of Srirangapatana as Member of Legislative Assemble of Karnataka.
Early Life: Born on 15th Jan 1908 Arakere Taluk, Mandya District of Karnataka. Bandi Gowda was the third son of Gowdaia, at an young age BandiGowda was a avid follower of Mahatma Gandhi. He took up Bachelor of Arts from Mysore University and then studied Bachelor of Law from Madras University
As an Advocate and Agriculturist he joined Congress in 1937 and was a member of Congress working committee from 1940 to 1950.
