Aadya is a 2020 Indian Kannada-language mystery thriller film released on February 21, 2020. It is directed by K M Chaitanya with Chiranjeevi Sarja, Sangeetha Bhat and Shruti Hariharan in lead roles and Shashank Purushottam, Ravishankar Gowda, Pramod Shetty, Harish Sheshadri, B M Giriraj, Ravi Chetan, and Chaitra Rao Sachin appearing in supporting roles. Dialogues are by Rohit Padaki, music by Sridhar V Sambhram, and cinematography by V. Malharbhatt Joshi. The film was first made in Telugu as Kshanam (2016), in Tamil as Sathya (2017), and in Hindi as Baaghi 2.
Plot[edit]
Six years ago, Aditya Shankar Chiranjeevi Sarja had left Bangalore swearing never to return. He is taken aback when he suddenly gets a call from his ex-lover Sangeetha Sangeetha Bhat. She says her daughter has been kidnapped and she needs Shankar's help to find the child. As Shankar begins to investigate, all evidences suggest that Sangeetha never had a daughter. Is Sangeetha lying? Or is there something the entire world is trying to hide? Aadyaa is a psychological thriller that explores the psyche of a mother.
