Aage Nost is an American doctor, writer,[1] and politician. In 2000, Nost ran for Congress as a Libertarian from Arizona's 5th congressional district. He ran against incumbent Republican Jim Kolbe in 2000 and finished in fourth place. Nost won 1.4% and 4,049 votes, behind incumbent Republican Jim Kolbe (60.1% and 172,986 votes), Democratic candidate George Cunningham (35.3% and 101,564 votes), and Green Party candidate Michael Jay Green (3.1% and 9,010 votes). Nost has written a book titled "Spiritual Science and Higher Conscious Thinking" available on his website.[2]
