He came to Mumbai in 2000 to make a career as a singer / actor and started his career by singing his first Bhojpuri album. His favourite singer was legendary Kishore Kumar, whom he lovingly refers to as his musical father. His first album was "Dilwa Ke Rani Ho (2012)" which gave him the recognition as an established playback singer. And with songs like Tor Maai Ke Damad Lagab Re from his blockbuster album Tor Maai ke damad lagab re, Aakash Dubey the star was born. The rest is history!!
