Aaron Samuel Cohn (born October 30th, 1998)is an American right handed pitcher for the Oakland Athletics organization.

Early life[edit]

Cohn was born in Southbridge, Massachusetts.[1] Prior to his time at Fairleigh Dickinson, Cohn graduated high school in his hometown of Tampa, Florida. Cohn attended Wharton High school graduating in 2017. During his four years at Wharton, Cohn played for Baseball Hall of Famer Wade Boggs.[2]

College career[edit]

Cohn, played NCAA Division 1 college baseball at Fairleigh Dickinson University, in Teaneck, New Jersey. Cohn played four years for the Fairleigh Dickinson Knights. During his career for the Knights, Cohn had numerous selections to the Northeast Conference Primes Performers list[3], for performances against Saint Peters University[4] and University of Maryland Baltimore County[5].

Professional career[edit]

Cohn was signed by the Oakland Athletics to a minor league contract in August of 2021. He was signed to the AZL Athletics and then promoted to the Low A Stockton Ports.[6]

Personal life[edit]

Cohn graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson with a degree in Political Science. [7] He is the son of Patricia and Alan Cohn, a peabody award winning journalist. Cohn was the main focus of a ABC Action News story detailing his rise in baseball to the professional level and his training regime.[8]
