Aaron Hawkins

Aaron R. Hawkins is an American engineer. He is a professor and chair in the department of electrical and computer engineering at Brigham Young University.
Education and career
Hawkins received his B.S. degree from the California Institute of Technology before going on to the University of California, Santa Barbara for his Ph.D. in electrical and computer engineering. He held several jobs in industry before moving to Brigham Young in 2002.[1]
Awards and honors
- Hawkins was elected a Fellow of the Optical Society in 2015.[2]
- Hawkins was named as a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) in 2016 for contributions to optofluidics.[3][4]
