Aarthi Ganesh (born 6 June 1985) is an Indian television host from Chennai, Tamil Nadu. She is best known as the host of Chinna Chinna Aasai[1] and Sol Vilayatu. Since 2006, she has predominantly been a host for shows on Makkal TV and DD Podhigai. [2]

Career[edit]

Aarthi Ganesh embarked on her career in 2006 as a television host for Velai Vaippu Thagavalgal on Makkal TV[3] and is currently working as an anchor for on DD Podhigai.[4] Since then this postgraduate student in Economics has taken the television arena by storm. Apart from hosting shows she has also acted in advertisements and short films.

Ganesh is popularly known for her Tamil pronunciation.[5] Aarthi has been a part of Makkal[6] TV anchor[7] for a long time now and she has hosted series for Paarampariya Samayal [8] Aarthi Ganesh has also Anchored for Vaananvil TV Network. Where She hosted Oor Sutralaam Vaanga Show. Later She Moved into Sun TV where she had been a Part of Sooriya Vanakkam Crew.[9]

Personal life[edit]

Aarthi Ganesh hails from Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Her ambition was to become a television compere from her childhood. Her parents T.P. Ganesh and Latha live in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. She married director cum producer Vivek Kumar Kannan in 2015 and they have a son named Theooden.[13] The pair had earlier been on Jannal Web TV (an interview about love and marriage), which was also published on their YouTube channel.[14][15][16]
