Aaryan Zaveri (born 12 March 2002) is an Indian Tennis player. Aaryan became the top of U-14 ranking in All India Tennis Association (AITA).[1] Aaryan's ITF ranking is 395.[2]

Early life and career[edit]

Aaryan Zaveri started playing tennis at the age of six. He was introduced to the sport by his sister.

In 2016, Aaryan came in to the limelight after he became the top of U-14 ranking in All India Tennis Association (AITA).[3]

In 2016, Aaryan represented India at Doha, Qatar and won the gold medal in U-14 Asian Junior Championship 2016.[4] In the same year he again represented India at Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and Stood 2nd in the U-14 ITF Asian Development Championship.

He also represented India at Bangkok, Thailand and got 5th position at the U-14 World Junior Chamionship. Aaryan was awarded best player of the team (Black Panthers) in Tennis Premier League Season 1 at Mumbai in 2018.

Aaryan won the Double Crown (winning men's singles and doubles both) at the ATF Asian Series.[5]

He participated in the Australian Open Play offs held in Zhuhai, China in December 2019 where was the only Indian to take part from his category.[6]

He won the Double Crown (winning both singles and doubles) International Tennis Federation (ITF) Juniors Title in Bangladesh in 2018.[7][8]

In 2016, he stood Runner up at the Fenesta Open in Delhi which is regarded as the highest ranking All India Tennis Association tournament in India.[9]

He was also a part of 2nd HCL Asian B1 Junior Tennis Championship held in Pune, 2018 in which he lost in the Quarter Finals. [10]
