AASHIYANA (English: Beautiful Home) (Urdu : ﺁشيانه) was a popular 1997 Pakistani drama series which was aired on the Pakistan Television network in 1997. The play is based on a story of four families.
Story
After completing Masters in Textiles, Sapna (Seemi Zaidi) is mentally disturbed due to a lack of attention from her family, including Father Wajid Khan (Qavi Khan), Mother Raheela (Najma Wasti) and her brother Sajid (Zia Khan). After complaining to her father, she moves towards Kasur to meet her servant mother Ayya Amma (Anita Kamfiar). But during the journey, her vehicle breaks down after arriving in Lahore, where she meets Mechanic Nouman (Waseem Abbas) at his workshop. Due to the major disorder of her vehicle, she (Sapna) agrees to stay at his home, where she meets his (Nouman) family, including Babu (Javeed Codo), Saif (Kashif Mehmood), Banto (Atif Mehmood), Waleed (Furqan Latif) and his two sisters Narmeen (Aamna Ahmed) and Gurya (Semal Rehman). Seemi Zaidi is entertained by the environment of Nouman’s family and agrees to stay there. Meanwhile, her family members are upset, and her brother Sajid complains to the Police to recover his sister.
On the other side, Chaudhary Rehmat (Irfan Khoosat)’s son, Chaudhary Nazeer (Shazib Mirza), wants to go abroad (U.S.A), but his father, Chaudhary Rehman, does not agree to send him abroad. Then he sells his plot to a person from his village and moves towards Lahore to stay with his uncle, his mother’s brother, Bhai Uncle (M.Zubair), and his daughter Saima (Maria Wasti).
Saima is a neighbour of Saif (Kashif Mehmood), Nouman’s brother, and Saima likes Saif from childhood.
Will Sapna’s family search for Sapna? Will Sapna return home? Will Chaudhary Nazeer go abroad?
