Aatish was Faakhir's debut album after his departure from the Pakistani musical band, Awaz. The album did very well which gained him populairty as a solo artist. The song "Dil Na Lagae" (Tere Bina Dil Na Lage, Pakistan) was a patriotic song that became the national song for the year 2000. The album was released in 2002.[1]
