Abambres Sport Clube (often abbreviated as Abambres SC) is a Portuguese sports club based in the parish of Abambres, in Vila Real, Portugal. Founded in 1968, the club is known for its football team, which competes in the regional leagues governed by the Vila Real Football Association.
History
Abambres Sport Clube was officially founded on 9 April 1968. The club has a long history in the regional football scene of the Vila Real district, with its home matches played at the Campo D.ª Maria de Lurdes do Amaral. The stadium was inaugurated in 1970 and has a capacity for 2000 spectators.
The club has competed in various tiers of the Portuguese football league system. While primarily known for its presence in the regional divisions, it also has a women's football section and youth teams.
