Abanny
Olatunji Gbolahan Sulaimon (born January 17, 2000), known professionally as Abanny, is a Nigerian rapper, singer, and songwriter.[1][2] He was born in Ogun State and raised in Lagos State. He has always wanted to be like Olamide, but he had no idea he would become a singer until 2015.[3]

Early life and Music career
Abanny comes from an extended family in Ikorodu and is the third of five children in the family. He began his journey in Ajegunle as a member of the band and cultural dance ensemble at his primary school before relocating to Ikorodu and finishing his secondary education there. He graduated from Lagos State University with a bachelor's degree in mathematics.[citation needed] Additionally, he completed a digital marketing training course at New Horizons.[citation needed]
In 2012, Abanny adopted Olamide as his role model, He began his music career in 2015 as a rapper, He records in Yoruba and English but when Olamide remarked "rap O jawo, Ori lo jawo," he quickly flipped. He's doing well now since he works so hard on himself to improve his Afrobeats skills. His first single to be released on all streaming platforms in 2022 was "Harder."[4] This song became popular in various Nigerian cities.[citation needed] The song Harder increased his recognition. He decided to release another song in 2022 titled Worship God,[5] and his followers were astounded that he could write a respectable song. Years ago, Abanny recorded a song for his mother's birthday titled (mom's birthday), but he was unable to release it since his producer was robbed. He finally decided to release the song Mom's birthday[6] in 2023 to honor his mother. That same year he published a song titled "LIE",[7] which he wrote for his ex for putting money before love. On July 24th, He released the song, which also happened to be his ex's birthday.[citation needed]
Abanny revealed the release date of his new single Alubarika some weeks ago, and many fans pre-saved the music before it was released. On October 4th, He released Alubarika[8] to all streaming platforms, and the song is performing well on TikTok. Other celebrities, such as Zlatan Ibile and Patoranking, also have songs called Alubarika.[9]
