Early life and education

Gikonyo pursued higher education in Kenya, graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), where she studied between 2011 and 2015.[1]

Career

Corporate and business sector

Early in her professional journey, Gikonyo worked at Pembroke House School between March 2013 and March 2015, supporting administrative operations, accounts, and public relations initiatives.[1]

In August 2019, she transitioned into the real estate sector, joining Finsco Africa as the Director of Customer Service.[1] During her tenure, which lasted until May 2025, she managed customer experience strategies, database systems, and client relations.[1] She subsequently founded and became the Chief Executive Officer of Center Piece Africa, a Nairobi-based real estate brokerage and investment advisory firm.[1] As an industry voice, she participated in the 2024 UK–Kenya Trade Mission, addressing urban housing demand, land policies, and administrative frameworks facing developers.[1]

Political activism and Linda Mwananchi

In 2026, Gikonyo emerged as a prominent voice in Kenyan youth activism and opposition politics through her alignment with the Linda mwananchi movement and Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna.[1] She has utilized her platform to advocate for economic stability, constitutionalism, and private sector empowerment.

Her organizational capabilities led to her appointment to the Linda Mwananchi Movement's Presidential Campaign Secretariat and its communications lead team alongside figures like Pauline Njoroge.[3] In public appearances and media broadcasts, such as on Spice FM, she has emphasized the importance of broad stakeholder inclusion and strict adherence to the rule of law.[4]
