Abdallah Bensmain (Arabic: عبد الله بن سماعين) born in 1948 in Oued Zehour, near Skikda, Algeria, is an Algerian journalist, writer, scientist and psychologist residing living in Morocco.

Abdallah Bensmain born in 1948 in Oued Zehour in the region of Collo Wilaya of Skikda, he comes from the tribe of Ouled Attia, he spent all his youth in Algeria before moving to Morocco.
Abdallah Bensmain studied at French national school of civil aviation in Toulouse. Bensmain graduated with an air traffic control, "GCA" specialty.
Bensmain also graduated in result of the 1st promotion of student fighter pilots on Fouga Magister at the Bou Sfer Flying School.
He also studied literature at the University of Quebec in Montreal (Semiology and Psychoanalysis).[1]
Career[edit]
Abdallah Bensmain began working as a journalist in 1976 in Morocco, which became his country of residence.[2]
He specialized in the written press, working in newspapers and magazines such as L'Opinion, Le Matin, Le Message de la Nation, La Vie éco, Le Temps du Maroc and Sindbad. He was a journalist, press correspondent, columnist or editor-in-chief.
Abdallah Bensmain also worked at the end of the 1970s, on the waves of Moroccan Radio and Television (RTM), he was producer and directors of several themes such as "Poets' Time" (Le Temps des poètes), in collaboration with Radio Canada, he also ensured the design and editing of several institutional publications (government agencies, international organizations, etc.).
In addition to his various tasks accomplished in his professional career, he has given several conferences in Moroccan universities and his contributions on Maghreb and African literature have been published in several academic journals, in Morocco and abroad.
Honors[edit]
Thanks to his professional career and rich path, Abdallah Bensmain appeared in the Anthology of Moroccan poetry (Jean Déjeux) and also in the Encyclopedia of Algerian Poetry of French language from 1930 to 2008 Ali El Hadj Tahar, as well as in tributes to Jean Sénac and in many other selections of texts by Maghrebian authors.
