Abdul Rauf Chandio (عبدالرووف چاندیو) is a prominent Pakistani journalist, General Secretary of Hyderabad Press Club.[1], Television Host [2] and Director News of Mehran TV[3] and President of Free Journalist Foundation[4] (NGO)
Personal Life
Abdul Rauf Chandio was born on February 1st, 1978[5] at a village named "Bhanbho Khan Chandio", in district Larkana. He received his early education in Larkana. In 2005, he obtained a master's degree in Sociology from University of Sindh. He has been working in the field of Journalism since 1995. Currently, he is running 3 Charity Schools through his NGO, with more than 500 students in each school; one of them is Zakia Model School[6][7]
Journalism Career
Rauf Chandio worked as an Anchor, Bureau Chief, News Writer, and Journalist for Sindhi Daily News and Daily Kawish in Hyderabad as a Reporter in 1997. Abdul Rauf started his career as a Bureau Chief of Sindh TV News. In 1998, Rauf was a Reporter at Daily Khawish and Daily Sham at Mirokhan and a Daily News Writer at The News International. Abdul Rauf was elected as General Secretary of Hyderabad Press Club in July 2018[8][1][9]. Currently, Rauf is the News Director of Mehran TV; he has also Hosted many TV Shows[10][11] [12] of Mehran TV[3] since 2008.
