Abhay Kant Pathak

Abhay Kant Pathak is a suspended officer of the Indian Forest Service.[1]

Pathak joined the IFS in 1987.[1][2]

2020 Arrest and Suspension

In November 2020, Pathak was arrested along with his son after the Vigilance Department of Odisha Government conducted raids at various places across India.[3] [1][4]

He was serving as the Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF), Plan, Program and Afforestation, Odisha at the time of his suspension.[1]

Pathak and his son have been remanded to judicial custody till December 09, 2020.[5]
