Abhijit Majumdar is an Odia film music director and composer.[1][2] He is known as the Melody King of Odia film industry, Abhijit Majumdar is a popular music composer who started his career in the film industry by working as a technician in the musical department for Odia language films. He gradually made his way up the ranks and made his debut as a composer with Kasia Kapila (2000).[3]

Majumdar is a self-made musician who made his debut in 1991 when he released the Sambalpuri album, Dhaski Gala.[4] Abhijit Majumdar has been composing music for Odia films for nearly two decades now and has established himself as a renowned composer in the industry.
