Abhootpurva
Abhootpurva is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language romantic horror comedy film produced by Khyati Madaan under her banner Not Out Entertainment. The film is set in 1990s Agra and is currently in pre-production, with a theatrical release planned for 2026.
Plot
Set against the nostalgic backdrop of 1990s Agra, Abhootpurva (meaning "Unprecedented") is described as a "Rom-Hor-Com," blending elements of tragic romance with horror-comedy. The film aims to capture old-school romantic charm while offering a fresh and entertaining experience that distinguishes it from typical Bollywood fare. [1]
Production
Abhootpurva marks Khyati Madaan’s second production venture from Not Out Entertainment, which she launched in April 2025 after a decade in film marketing. The film is part of the company’s initial slate, which also includes a sequel to a musical thriller and a slice-of-life drama directed by Habib Faisal. [2]
