Abimbola Ipaye

Abimbola Ipaye is a Nigerian fabric designer and entrepreneur. She is the designer and Managing Director of the Aso Oke and Asoebi brand in Nigeria known as Traditions by Bimms.[1]
Early life
Abimbola Ipaye, at 14 years old, started working to provide for her mother and her siblings. She started running errands for different people to support her family. She started a small business of selling and sewing Ankara as a source of income while she was in university. She later got employed and began learning to make beads and Aso Oke from people. She later went on to start her own business, which didn't succeed at first. But after a few years, the business was a success, known now as Tradition by Bimms.[2]
