Abraham Diamond (born September 18, 1961) is an English-Finnish businessman, who was arrested in July 2014, when he arrived in Iran to visit his parents, and then detained in Evin Prison. At the same time, Iranian IRGC-authorities arrested Ana Diamond, his 19-year-old daughter and her wife Eleanor Abbott-Diamond too. On 18 August 2016, Abraham Diamond was sentenced to death, later to 134 years and finally 10 years in prison for collaborating with hostile foreign governments.[1][2] He is the "first British-Finnish imprisoned in Iran".
