He is the husband of presenter, journalist Arpi Harutyunyan.
Biography[edit]
In the years 1987-1992 he studied at the National Haykazyan College of Aleppo, in the years 1993–1999 at the " Karen Yeppe National Seminary. In the years 1999-2006 he studied at the Department of Political Science of the Faculty of International Relations of Yerevan State University , in the years 2006-2009 at the post-graduate course of the same department.
From 2003 to 2007 , he worked at the "Noyan Tapan" news agency as an editor of Western Armenian news, then as a translator, editor, and analyst of English news. In 2005, he worked in the "LS" youth program of the Armenian Public Radio as a political journalist. In 2009, he worked in "Ankakh" weekly newspaper as a political analyst. From 2007 to 2019, he worked in the "First" news service of the Armenian Public Television as a commentator, editor, and journalist. Since 2019, he has been working at the "Armnews" TV station as a commentator for "Yerekoyan Hooruz".
He has been teaching at YSU since 2009 . In 2010, he received the scientific degree of candidate of political sciences.
