He is the husband of presenter and journalist Arpi Harutyunyan.

Biography

In the years 1987–1992 he studied at the National Haykazyan College of Aleppo, in the years 1993–1999 at the "Karen Yeppe National Seminary". In the years 1999–2006 he studied at the Department of Political Science of the Faculty of International Relations of Yerevan State University, in the years 2006–2009 at the post-graduate course of the same department.

From 2003 to 2007, he worked at the "Noyan Tapan" news agency as an editor of Western Armenian news, then as a translator, editor, and analyst of English news. In 2005, he worked in the "LS" youth program of the Armenian Public Radio as a political journalist. In 2009, he worked in "Ankakh" weekly newspaper as a political analyst. From 2007 to 2019, he worked in the "First" news service of the Armenian Public Television as a commentator, editor, and journalist. Since 2019, he has been working at the "Armnews" TV station as a commentator for "Yerekoyan Hooruz".

He has been teaching at YSU since 2009. In 2010, he received the scientific degree of candidate of political sciences.
