Abshir Bacadle
Abshir Nuur Faarax 'Bacadle' was a Somali poet.[1]
Abshir Ba’adle has been remembered with an entire collection of poems during the Somali civil war. As one of the most prolific Somali poets of the late 20th century, his poems were mostly based on Religion, War, Reconciliation, Natural Disasters and the Poor and Needy. He vocally lived through the Battle of Mogadishu in 1993 with US Delta forces and the Ethiopian-led War in Somalia (2006–2009).
Bacadle was born in Mustahil in the Somali Region of Ethiopia.
