Abu Dhabi Indian School-Branch 1, Al Wathba, (Arabic: فرع مدرسة أبوظبي الهندية - واحد الوثبة‎), commonly abbreviated as "ADIS Br - 1" is a private educational institution based in Abu Dhabi, The United Arab Emirates. The educational system is based on CBSE,[4] NCERT curriculum. The school is the first branch[5] of the long established school Abu Dhabi Indian School.[6]

Affiliation[edit]

The institution follows the NCERT curriculum, it is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. In an inspection conducted at the school in 2019, the Department of Education and Knowledge in Abu Dhabi (ADEK) rated it as "good".[7]

Education[edit]

This institution provides education to boys and girls[8] which are segregated from High School.[9]

Secondary language electives include French, Hindi and Indian-sponsored Arabic. HSC-level specializations include the Science stream with Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science. Commerce with Mathematics, Marketing, Economics and Psychology electives. Humanities stream with Computer Science, History, Political Science, Business Studies, Marketing and Economics.
