Acemagic
ACEMAGIC is a consumer electronics manufacturer of mini personal computers[1][2] and small form[3] factor desktop systems.[4][5] The company is known for MINI PCs,[6] portable laptops, and experimental dual-screen devices that have been reviewed by international technology publications.[7][8][9][10]
Background
ACEMAGIC was founded in 2013 by a group of technology enthusiasts who were inspired by the “Magician Impossible” series.[11][12][13] They aimed to build a brand focused on creating computing products that combine accessibility, performance, and enjoyable design.[14][15][16]
Over time, ACEMAGIC shifted toward developing miniaturized personal electronic devices,[17] including compact desktop mini-PCs and laptops.[18][19][20][21]
Products
The company has released several compact PCs,[22][23] including the S1 (2023),[24][25] Tank 03 (2024), the F2A[26] with Intel Core Ultra processors (2024), X1 (2024), and the F3A[27] featuring AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 chips (2025).[28][29][30][31]
Controversy
In early 2024, AceMagic faced criticism after reports emerged that some of its mini PCs were shipped with pre-installed spyware and malware.[32] Security researchers and reviewers found infected files on several models, including the AD08 and AD15, which antivirus programs identified as Bladabindi and Redline variants.[33][34] The company acknowledged the issue, stating it was limited to the first shipment due to an internal software error. AceMagic offered refunds or replacements to affected customers and pledged to improve its manufacturing and software security processes.[35]
