Active Theory is a creative digital production studio.[1][2] The company was founded by Andy Thelander, Michael Anthony and Nick Mountford.[3] Active Theory has one office in Venice, California and one office in Amsterdam.[4]

In 2021, Active Theory collaborated with Girls Who Code with the creation of the first codable music video for Doja Cat. This interactive website aims to introduce girls to programming languages in a fun and interactive way.[5]
Clients and recognition[edit]
Active Theory has created digital productions for clients like Adidas and Google.[6][7]
The company received the Webby People’s Voice Award for Best Navigation/Structure from Webby Awards in 2020.[4]
