Adam Carroll (born 11 October 1988 from Cloyne, Cork, Ireland) is an Irish vocalist. He was a founding member of Time Is A Thief, The Gore Club and was vocalist of London-based band Zoax.

Early life and career[edit]

Carroll was born and raised in Cloyne, County Cork, Ireland. Carroll's musical career began when he formed Time Is a Thief in 2007 with James Keane who were in school together and friends Micheal Murphy & Pierce Day (Day later replaced by Jeffrey Hayes). He is vocalist in London-based band Zoax which formed in 2013, also in the band are Joe Copcutt, Doug Wotherspoon, Sean Weir & Jonathan Rogers. In 2018 Carroll formed The Gore Club with Joe Copcutt.

Musical influences[edit]

Carroll has stated that his music influences range from bands such as Bruce Springsteen, Biffy Clyro, Metallica, Counting Crows, The Ramones to genres such as Jazz and Electronic.

Personal life[edit]

Carroll got engaged to his girlfriend in October 2013. He is a big WWE, Horror & Video game fanatic. Carroll has taken part in several podcast series with his friends.
