Adam Traore, known by his stage name Adam Vida, is a San Francisco-based rapper of mixed Italian and Senegalese ancestry[1]. Prior to 2016, Adam Vida went by the stage name A-1, but changed his name to prevent confusion with the Norwegian boy band of the same name[2].
Adam Vida first came to the spotlight during the victory riots when the San Francisco Giants won the World Series in 2012, rapping as he walked through the burning city[3]. Since then, he has played to sold-out shows in the Bay Area and is steadily expanding his fanbase[4].
Adam Vida is known for his collaboration with Watsky, Dumbfoundead, Grieves, Wax, Rafael Casal, Daveed Diggs, and Chinaka Hodge on the track "Exquisite Corpse", from Watsky's 2016 album x Infinity.
