Adam John Mort, better known by his stage name Addy M, is an English rapper from Malton, North Yorkshire. So far Addy M has written two Albums and four E.Ps all relating to his past struggles. These albums/E.Ps include "State Of Mind", "Peace Of Mind", "Change Of Mind", "Final Thoughts" and "Only Human" which was later rebranded into an extended album version ''Fake Love''

Addy M first burst on to the scene in November 2015 with his debut album ''State Of Mind'' which surpassed everyones expectations by accumulating over 40,000 plays, there was no music from Addy M in 2016 as he announced on the social media facebook he was taking a little break from music. Then in May 2017 after his break up with then partner, Addy M came back with the EP ''Peace Of Mind'' which talked about the struggles he had in 2016/2017 and fully opened up about everything that was going on behind the scenes, this EP gained a lot of traction and a lot of interest and support. Then Addy M followed up ''Peace Of Mind'' on September 10th with the final part of the trilogy known as the ''Mind'' projects ''Change Of Mind'' which was an experimental EP in which Addy M used different kind of beats to his usual sound and touched on his mental health and relationship struggles.

On December 2nd Addy M released a surprise EP known as ''Final Thoughts'' which he said on all his social media accounts was putting everything to rest that happened in 2016/2017 and that he was ready to move on with his life. This EP gained a lot of publicity quite quickly due to how open Addy M is about his life and struggles and relationship problems and his detoriating mental health, ''Final Thoughts'' is a very emotional project and widely regarded as one of Addy M's best works.

In 2018 Addy M announced on his Facebook page and Instagram account that he was taking a brief break from music so he could find himself as a person and become a better version of himself the majority of his fans supported this decision and sent him many well wishes, On September 23rd Addy M released what he claimed would be his final major project ''Only Human'' which was a very different type of EP to his usual projects and is well regarded as his most successful project surpassing just over eleven million streams in a matter of months, also surpassing seventy five million streams in the year 2020, then Addy M anounced he was removing the project of SoundCloud and creating a website specifically for the project, and was rebranding and extending it into an album retitled as ''Fake Love'' with a release date of 14th February 2020, later released as a deluxe edition on the 14th February 2022, marking it's two year anniversary.

After the release of the deluxe edition of ''Fake Love'' Addy M announced he was retiring from making music, stating he had accomplished everything he aimed to do from selling out stadiums, touring all over the country and the world and supporting some of the biggest artists in hip hop, and featuring on the radio nonstop to performing and recording with some of the biggest artists in the industry, and not only had he reached his milestones but he surpassed them tremendously. However it later came out after much speculation that this was just the press story and that the official story was that Addy M had stopped making music due to the deterioration of hearing in his left ear, however that has not being comfirmed by Addy M or any of his team.
