Adelabu Alexander (born 27 September 1999 in Lagos state) popularly known as Magixx is a Nigerian singer, songwriter. He started singing and composing songs from a very young age and has been pursuing his career till he got signed into the Mavins record label[1] on 23 September 2021. Before he was signed into Mavins record label he released several covers of hit songs such as "Sinner" by Adekunle Gold on 3 September 2021 and "Dangote" on 3 April 2019. His journey into the music industry was also boosted by his stage performance in the University of Lagos where he studied mass communication and was gradually growing his fan base while he was a student in the University. Magixx released his first EP titled Magixx EP on 24 September 2021.

Early life[edit]

Adelabu Alexander was born into a Christian family and was raised in Ogba, Lagos Mainland area. He was inspired by the likes of Fela Kuti, Shina Peters, wizkid, and D'banj, [2]Magixx attended Lagos State University where he studies Mass Communication.

Career[edit]

Magixx singing career started from a young age but professionally from his University days. Before he got signed into Mavins record label he was an artist under the Music by Nature record label in 2018, after which his talent attracted Don Jazzy in 2021.[3] He has released 13 songs since his contract with Mabins record label such as "love don't cost a dime", "Shaye", "All Over "amongst others.[4]
