Ademola Faleye (born March 9, 2002)[1] is an American college football tight end for the Washington State Cougars. He previously played for the Michigan State Spartans and the Norfolk State Spartans. [2] [3]
Early Life and high school career
Faleye was born in Boston, Boston, Massachusetts[1] but grew up in Brockton, Brockton, Massachusetts.[1] He attended Brockton High School in Brockton, Massachusetts.[1] In high school, Faleye played wide receiver for the Brockton High School Boxers. He hauled in 10 receptions for 142 yards as a sophomore,[1] but missed out on most of his junior and senior season due to an Achilles tendon rupture injury. He was rated as a three-star recruit before committing to play college football for the Norfolk State Spartans.[4]
College career
Norfolk State
In week 9 of the 2021 season, Faleye caught his first college career touchdown in a 31-20 victory against Morgan State.[5] In 2021, Faleye captured 5 receptions for 38 yards and one touchdown as a freshman.[1] In 2022, he caught 4 passes for 55 yards and one touchdown.[1] After the 2022 season, Faleye decided to enter the transfer portal on December 6, 2022.[6]
Michigan State
On December 12, 2022, Faleye transferred to play football for the Michigan State Spartans. In 2023, he did not see any in-game action due to taking a redshirt season.[1] In 2024, Faleye caught 2 passes for 18 yards.[7] On December 9, 2024, Faleye entered the transfer portal again, with one season of eligibility remaining.[6]
Washington State
On January 9, 2025, Faleye transferred to play for the Washington State Cougars.[6]
