Theo Johnson is an American football tight end for the Penn State Nittany Lions.
Early life and high school[edit]
Johnson grew up in Windsor, Ontario and attended Holy Names Catholic High School. He has 42 receptions for 569 yards and 5 touchdowns as a sophomore. Johnson was rated a four-star recruit and committed to play college football at Penn State over offers from Georgia, Iowa, and Michigan.
College career[edit]
Johnson played in 2 games as a true freshman and caught 4 passes for 56 yards before redshirting the season. He played in 9 games and had 19 receptions for 213 yards and 1 touchdown in his redshirt freshman season. Johnson began his redshirt sophomore season on the injured list, then played in 7 games and caught 19 passes for 300 yards and 4 touchdowns.
