Aditi Bhavaraju[edit]

Aditi Bhavaraju is an Indian playback singer and musician. She has recorded songs for film music and albums in multiple Indian languages and is establishing a career in Indian cinema. Aditi has participated and won various local and national level music competitions in the USA. She has performed several shows for various prestigious organizations in the USA and India. She is currently studying Bachelor of Management Studies in Hyderabad and has been pursuing her career as a playback singer since 2018.

Career[edit]

Her debut song was "Nalugu Pedavulu" in the 2018 film Kavacham composed by S. Thaman.

Her songs "Mella Mellaga"[1] with Sid Sriram and "Coca-Cola Pepsi"[2] with Simha, Ramya Behara and Hanuman in the 2019 films "ABCD – American Born Confused Desi" and Venky Mama respectively received accolades and kickstarted her career in the Telugu Film Industry as a Playback Singer.

In 2020, Aditi sang an "Uttarandhra" folk song by the name of "Bavochhadu[3]" in the film Palasa 1978 which was well acclaimed in the Music Industry.

In a 2020 interview [4] by The Hindu Aditi was regarded as an "NRI Telugu kid... (who) is straddling both worlds (singing and college) successfully." (Chowdhary 1)

Early Life[edit]

Born in Andhra Pradesh, India, and raised in the United States for most of her childhood and teenage years, Aditi pursued music throughout middle and high school at John Adams Middle School and John P. Stevens High School in Edison, New Jersey, USA. After her debut in Padutha Theeyaga USA Teen Series Aditi decided to pursue her career in playback singing and is actively learning Carnatic and Hindustani music.
