Adly Wagih Thoma (Arabic:عدلي وجيه توما , born December 27, 1973.)[1] is an Egyptian Professor, entrepreneur and Chairman & Chief executive officer of Gemini Africa[2]
Early Life
Born on December 27, 1973, in Cairo, Egypt, Adly received his high school education certificate from Collège de la Sainte Famille - Jesuites followed by a Bachelor's degree of electrical engineering in communication & electronics from Ain Shams University, Egypt.[1] He then became certified as a project management professional from the Project Management Institute[3] and earned two master’s degrees: a master’s in project management from George Washington University, and a Master of Science in Business Engineering from Ain Shams University.[4]
Career
He worked as a Worldwide Project Management Consultant for 85 countries with Schlumberger Houston.[1][5] He is a professor of practice at the University of Agora - USA[6], an adjunct faculty at the Dubai school of government in cooperation with Harvard Kennedy School, a lecturer for the mini-MBA program at the State University of New York (OSWEGO), a post graduate instructor and consultant within Egypt, the Middle East, Africa, Europe & the Far East at multiple recognized institutions including The American University in Cairo(AUC), Ain Shams University and Cairo University.[7][8]
He was nominated to be a member of the practitioners high committee at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AAST)[9], a member of the Aswan International Women's Film Festival (AWIFF) board of trustees[10], an accredited member of project management examination panels, a practitioner examiner at AUC for graduation projects[11] in addition to being an international awards winner of the shining armor, a bronze medal and other awards.[4]
