Adolf Bucher
Adolf Bucher born in Egolzwil, (November 18, 1878 - December 6, 1977) in Uetikon ; Catholic , entitled to reside in Egolzwil) was a Swiss politician (SP) .
Biography[edit]
Adolf Bucher was born on November 18, 1878 in Egolzwil as the son of the Wagnerian Lorenz Bucher from Geuensee and the Jakobea born Kupper. The graduate of a mechanic apprenticeship worked from 1905 to 1917 in his learned profession in the Federal Munitions Factory Thun . From 1917 to 1933, he was secretary of the Thun section of the Swiss Metalworking and Watchmaking Association (Smuv). In addition, from 1910 to 1918 the social democrat was a member of the town council and from 1918 to 1933 of the city council of Thun. At the same time he was from 1918 to 1934 as a workers' representative in the Grand Council of the Canton of Bern represented. He also served on the National Council from 1919 to 1927 .
In 1934 he retired from politics, moved to Bern and went back to his original job. Adolf Bucher, who married Liniger, born in 1912, died on December 6, 1977 at the age of 99 in Uetikon.
