Advaita, (stylised as AD\/\ITA) is the annual technical and cultural festival of International Institute of Information Technology, Bhubaneswar, held during the month of February within the university campus. It is a grand four day festival event, the maiden edition of which was held in 2013. It attracted thousand of students from all over India, including students, academia, corporates and the general public of the state. The fourth edition of Advaita is going to be held from 11 February to 14 February in the year 2016.

In IIIT Bhubaneswars' maiden Advaita some prominent laureates including Dr. Sundara Ranjan (Worldwide Head-Strategy and Technology at Persistent Systems) and Dr. Mrinal Das (Vice-President at Sankalp Semiconductors) were invited. In "Advaita 2k14" the famous Indian singer Mohammad Irfan Ali performed on the evening of PRONite.[1] In "Advaita 2k15" the Bollywood Vocalist Divya Kumar (singer) and Sunburn Festival(Campus) attracted a large number of audience. Event gate passes are made and sold by the organizing team for the evening with a nominal fee. The dance workshop for the event was conducted by the famous choreographer cum dancer, The Indian Salsa Princess Sneha Kapoor. Various students from colleges all over the state participated in this workshop.

Organization[edit]
The whole event is organized by Team Advaita who are known for their good managerial skills. The team consists of members who are selected by the SRC ( Student Relations Committee). The New Indian Express Group, OTV, 92.7 BigFM and ETV cover the fest extensively every year. The core team is responsible for getting sponsorship for the fest, handle publicity throughout India and organize and executes the events. Pre-fest tasks, formulation of events, internal publicity, security and discipline, student accommodation, transportation, guest reception, and arena design are distributed among the heads and members of the core organizing team consisting mainly of third year students.
