Advanced Projects is a commercial Enterprise Project Portfolio Management (EPPM) system for Microsoft Dynamics AX developed and sold by Adeaca. Advanced Projects was first introduced in 2007.
Advanced Projects extends the Microsoft Dynamics AX Project Management and Accounting module[1] and it is primarily designed for engineering, civil engineering, construction and professional services companies. As of March 2015, Advanced Projects can be used with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 and AX 2012.[2]
History
Initially called ARP (Advanced Resource Planning), the product was renamed Advanced Projects in 2009. Advanced Projects was created by Daniel Bevort, the principal architect behind Damgaard Navision A/S Axapta, which is now known as Microsoft Dynamics AX (Microsoft purchased Navision A/S in July 2002[3]).
