Advataxes is an online employee expense software designed notably for recoverable Canadian Value Added Taxes (VAT) namely the Goods and Services Tax (GST), the Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) and the Quebec sales tax (QST). The software uses a series of matrices for Canadian VAT applicable at the provincial level as well as matrices for the various classes of GST/HST/QST registrants. It does not use tax codes.

The Software as a Service (SaaS) Advataxes is developed, owned and operated by Ad Valorem Inc. Ad Valorem inc. is a company based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada founded by Serge Vanier, CPA, CMA a Canadian sales tax practitioner.
Initial release[edit]
The beta version of Advataxes was lived on April 17, 2013.
Award[edit]
On December 4, 2018 Ad Valorem Inc. received the « Innovative Travel Technology of the Year 2018 » award from Levvel Research for Advataxes. It is the ninth year that these awards are issued by Levvel Research, formerly known as PayStream Advisors.
