Advocacy Unified Network (AUN) is a non-governmental organization[3] established around 2022, dedicated to global public policy research and advocacy for the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals. Based in The Hague, Netherlands, AUN operates with a multi-sectional network that aims to inform and mobilize policymakers, businesses, and civil society worldwide. Its overarching goal is to advance transparent, accountable, and democratic policy-making conducive to sustainable development, with the inclusion of all stakeholders, ultimately striving for sustainable growth, international peace, and security under the Rule of Law.

AUN was established c. 2022 as a Global Public Policy Research and Advocacy Organization for the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals.

The headquarter of AUN is located in The Hague, The Netherlands,[4] in proximity to the International Court of Justice, the Hague Academy of International Law, and the International Criminal Court.

Global projects and campaigns[edit]

AUN's Joint Advocacy for Cooperative initiative focuses on identifying the global challenges for the cooperative movement in the Global South and finding solutions to overcome those challenges and convert them into opportunities.

AUN's International Trade Law initiative for SMEs provides new scopes and opportunities using International frameworks and legal mechanisms supporting the transformation from "sick to skilled" SMEs.

AUN got special accreditation from the United Nations[5] for participation and presentation in its high-level meeting on Road Safety held on June 30-July 01, 2022, at UN headquarters in New York, United States, and the 2023 UN Water Conference and the preparatory meeting to be held at the United Nations headquarters in New York.[6] AUN highlighted some crucial public policy issues of the SAARC countries through its Nepal Policy Watch project, analyzing critically the governance and politics of Nepal.[7]

The organization includes among its membership a concentration of policymakers, lawmakers, think tanks, researchers, business entities, civil society members, activists, bureaucrats, and former politicians, including past and present Ministers and defense personnel. AUN News is another arm of Advocacy Unified Network along with Opus Publica, comprising a vibrant team of journalists from 48 countries of the world.

AUN is registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce as a Legal entity which is categorized as an umbrella body and cooperation and advisory body.[8]
