Adwoa Amoah
Adwoa Amoah is a Ghanaian artist and the current Co-Director of Contemporary Art in Ghana. [1]
Early life and education
Amoah's received her Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi in 2003.[2]
Exhibitions
Amoah’s work has been exhibited in Ghana and internationally, such as: The Dei Centre, Artists’ Alliance Gallery, Goethe-Institut, and the Alliance Francaise. Internationally, her work has been exhibited in Palacio da Cultura, Praia, CapeVerde, and Alliance Francaise.
She has been recognized among the 10 women artists spanning three generations, with influences from international styles and regional traditions, at the Loom Gallery in Accra.[3]
