Aesthet is a luxury Greek multi-brand.[1] founded in 2013, specializing in curated fashion and lifestyle products from established and emerging Greek designers. Recognized for its focus on Greek design and commitment to contemporary fashion, Aesthet operates both as an e-commerce platform and through physical boutiques, with a flagship store located in Athens[2][3][4] and a seasonal boutique in Mykonos.[5][6][7]

History

Aesthet was launched in 2013 as an online shopping destination focused on promoting contemporary Greek fashion.[8] Its name is derived from the Greek word "aesthetics," reflecting the brand's core value of high sensitivity to beauty. The concept was to provide a platform where customers could access creations by Greek designers. In 2017, Aesthet opened its first boutique in Nammos Village, Mykonos, positioning itself in one of the island's most prestigious retail destinations.[5][6] This was followed by the 2019 opening of its flagship store in central Athens, establishing its presence in the luxury retail landscape of Greece.[2][3]

Brand Concept and Philosophy

Aesthet is positioned as an international multi-brand retailer, highlighting Greek designers with cultural and artistic influence.[1] It aims to highlight the elegance and sophistication of Greek fashion by offering limited edition collections, exclusive designs, and timeless pieces.[citation needed] The brand features products from renowned Greek labels such as Ancient Greek Sandals, Costarellos, Zeus+Dione, Themis Z, and Lalaounis, as well as emerging contemporary designers.[citation needed]

Grants and Recognition

In January 2025, Aesthet, in collaboration with Lighthouse[9] E-Commerce and Digital Marketing Agency, received four awards at the 14th annual e-volution Awards,[10][not in citation given] organized by BOUSSIAS Events in Athens. The awards recognized excellence in Greek e-commerce and digital business practices. Aesthet and Lighthouse received the following distinctions:

  • Gold Award for International E-Commerce
  • Gold Award for Continuous Growth in E-Commerce
  • Gold Award for Best Use of Personalization in E-Commerce
  • Bronze Award for Best Fashion & Apparel Company

In 2021, Aesthet was recognized at the PEAK Performance Marketing Awards[11][9] for its collaboration with the digital consultancy Lighthouse. The award highlighted the company’s strategic use of branded content and performance marketing to promote Greek fashion globally.[citation needed]

In 2022, Aesthet received support from the ESPA[12][not in citation given] Competitiveness Program, a European Union–funded initiative aimed at promoting innovation and business development in Greece. The grant facilitated the brand’s efforts to enhance its digital infrastructure and expand its international market presence.[citation needed]

The brand’s e-commerce platform, aesthet.com, has been noted in Greek media outlets such as Miss Bloom, LIFO, and Madame Figaro for its role in advancing the digital presence of Greek designers.[citation needed] By featuring collections from over 20 Greek fashion labels, the platform has contributed to the growth of the country’s online luxury retail sector.[citation needed]

Collaborations and Social Impact

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Aesthet collaborated with designer Antonia Karra to donate all proceeds from select jewelry sales to the charity association "Mazi gia to Paidi," supporting families in need during the crisis.[13][dead link][user-generated source]
