AMMOUSA is a Greek craft brewery based in Patras, Greece. It was established in 2016 by mechanical engineer George Ntanos.[1] The company produces small-batch beers and distributes them in Greece and abroad.[2]

History

AMMOUSA began as a homebrewing project in Patras in 2016. Ntanos developed recipes focused on food pairing and locally inspired flavors, eventually expanding to commercial production in 2019.[3]

Beers

  • English IPA (5.5%) – released in 2019, brewed with ginger.[4]
  • Tropical Stout (7.0%) – introduced in 2024, featuring vanilla and coffee notes.[5]

Recognition

AMMOUSA has been mentioned by Greek and international media in the context of the growing craft beer movement in Greece and the export of Greek microbreweries.[6]
