"Afiat Basheh" (Persian: عافیت باشه) or its more formal form "Afiat Bashad" (Persian: عافیت باشد) is a response to sneezing in Persian language, meaning "May Cleanliness/Purity be bestowed upon you," or "may it be for your health."
After getting this message from people around, the sneezer will often say سلامت باشید (Salaamat Bashid) which translates to "[you too] Be healthy".
The main use of the phrase is to response to a sneezer, but "Afiat Basheh" can also be used in other circumstances such telling a person right after his or her shower.
