Latin Music[edit]

Afonico Music started in 2009 to move new Latin Music Projects. During the that summer, Marthin had just finished Producing Latin Songstress Chana with her debut EP “Manos Arriba”.

To this day, this independent label has developed independent artist such as: Neysa Blay, Di WAV, Lynx, Los Hollywood, Las Cruxes, Erick Elera, Blssom, Pascal, Palenke Soultribe, Maleco Collective, Chana, Sunny, War, Machuchi, Marlin Limon, Isabella Castillo, Jahzel Dotel, Migret, Odas, El Guanín de tu Tío y Nando Chang, among others.

Afonico uses its experiential event platform “Sync It Up” to expose its labels music to brands. It also curate or supervise TV projects in Latin American region.

About Marthin Chan[edit]

Marthin Chan A&R Producer Artist Latin Grammy Nominated Songwriter. He has lived in White Plains NY, Santo Domingo, Bogotá, Vancouver, Miami, Los Angeles listening to new wave, pop, Miami bass, hip hop, to traditional Latin music.

As an artist, Marthin, has played guitar for Miami’s Volumen Cero, which recorded four studio albums. Their album “Estelar” released in 2005 on Warner Music was nominated to the Latin Grammys for Best Rock Album Category. That same year, Marthin was nominated for writing (best rock song) “Lagrimas” for JD Natasha.

Marthin has also written hit songs for/ with : Beto Cuevas, Chana, Luis Fonsi, Valeria Gastaldi, Manuela Mejia, Popvert, Daniela Spalla, Mariana Vega, Daniela Guzman, Coral, Nicole, Janina, Isabella Castillo, Sara Cobo, Rafael De La Fuente , Maria Gabriela De Farias, Los Hollywood, OMNI Maleco Collective, Volumen Cero, Alicia Robertson, Valeria Baroni, Locos por Juana, Cristian Campocasso, Thali Garcia, Litzi & Luivy, Marlin Limon, Machuchi, J.D. Natasha, and more.

Marthin is also very much involved in Social Activism; he produced the music for the PSA campaign for Voto Latino 2008 Presidential Elections. He also produced the music for the 2010 Census campaign.
