African Legal Support Facility
The African Legal Support Facility (ALSF) is a public international institution, established in 2008 and hosted by the African Development Bank (AfDB) Group.[1] The ALSF is dedicated to providing legal advice and technical assistance to African countries in negotiation of complex commercial transactions, creditor litigation and other related sovereign transactions. The ALSF also develops and proposes innovative tools for capacity building and knowledge management.[2]
The Agreement for the Establishment of the African Legal Support Facility was signed on the 22 December 2008.
ALSF is based in the International Trade Centre, Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire.
