Agustín Boeri (born 18 May 1999, in Buenos Aires) is an Argentine political leader, affiliated with the coalition Hacemos por Nuestro País — aligned at the national level with former Córdoba governor Juan Schiaretti. He is a prominent figure in the Buenos Aires "partido" (district) of Esteban Echeverría, where he has promoted a profile of territorial management with emphasis on youth participation and political consensus-building.[citation needed]

Biography

Boeri was born and raised in the partido of Esteban Echeverría, in the southern Greater Buenos Aires area. He works as a merchant, is a fan of Estudiantes de La Plata, and from a young age showed interest in community and local political activity, which led him to engage in groups linked to Peronism (non-Kirchnerist).[1][citation needed] He received political formation through youth structures; having served as a leader of the Juventud Peronista of Esteban Echeverría, he positions himself as part of the "under-40" generation, which he defines as disenchanted with traditional actors and in need of leadership renewal.[2][citation needed]

Political career

In 2023 Boeri formally joined the Hacemos por Nuestro País coalition, led by Juan Schiaretti, within the provincial alignment in Buenos Aires. From there he began projecting his local career in Esteban Echeverría, with territorial activities and participation in electoral lists as a candidate for city councilor (concejal).[3][citation needed]

In the 2025 Buenos Aires provincial elections, he ran for the city council under the banner of Somos Buenos Aires. The list placed as the 4th most voted in the district, receiving 5.58 % of the vote.[4][citation needed]

In public statements, Boeri has argued that Argentine politics is marked by an "unproductive" polarization, and that it is necessary to reach basic consensuses to improve government management. His discourse emphasizes the need for refreshing political leadership through youth participation and the articulation among diverse political traditions such as Peronism, Radicalism, and Socialism.[citation needed]

Ideology and political positions

[citation needed]

Boeri identifies with federal Peronism and the dialoguing space of Hacemos. He has expressed:

  • Criticism of the political divide between Kirchnerism and opposition forces.
  • Defense of public administration "in benefit of the community" rather than partisan interests.
  • Pursuit of inter-party consensus and openness to different political sectors.
  • Promotion of youth participation as a driving force for political renewal.
