He said about women wearing headscarves in one of his articles: “I always wondered: why do I have to force a woman to wear a niqab or headscarf? Who am I to impose it on her? why not leave the choice for her? is it not enough for her to suffer in a society, that is “relaxed and gotten used to” vilify woman and put her below man, who would put her in a black bag despite her will? and who is this woman? Isn’t she one of the closest people to us, women who are credited to us? How can we impose what we don’t like for ourselves?. [1]
